Watercolour added – The Cheesewring – Minions

Hi everybody.

This is The Cheesewring – Minions a watercolour on Two Rivers NOT paper. 300lb. 1/2 imperial.
The Cheesewring is a rock formation on the edge of Bodmin Moor. It is a natural formation formed by the weather, which is amazing considering it’s solid granite! I had a bit more success with the paper on this outing as I soaked it for a while before starting.

Happy painting

Watercolour added – Where’s My Mealworms?

Hi everybody

This is ‘Where’s My Mealworms?’ A watercolour and pastel on Arches NOT paper. 140lb. 1/4 imperial. Robins are eternally cute and I just couldn’t resist painting this one. A backwash of Aureolin and cobalt blue together with prussian blue and raw sienna. Mainly watercolur, but a few touches with pastel pencils.

Happy painting
